06/2011ZIM Plant Technology is winner of the SENSOR Innovation Award 2011
The AMA sensor innovation award honours outstanding developments in the field of sensor technology. From 1985 onwards the international price is awarded annually on the sensor and measurement fair in Germany. Price winner of the year 2011 is the company ZIM Plant Technology GmbH (team leader Prof. Dr. U. Zimmermann). The jury acknowledged the great value and benefit of the non-invasive magnetic ZIM-probe system for plant physiology, agriculture and forestry.

03/2011ZIM Plant Technology is nominated for the SENSOR Innovation Award 2011
AMA Association for Sensor Technology Nominates Three Contenders
The AMA Association for Sensor Technology grants its SENSOR Innovation Award for the 11th time. It will present this year’s 10,000-euro award at its trade fair, the SENSOR+TEST, on 7 June 2011 in Nuremberg. The blue-ribbon jury nominated three projects out of the numerous submissions from Germany and abroad and presented them at the annual press conference in Wurzburg.

12/2010 Diploma thesis for the automated analysis of the plant parameters given
Rebecca Bitter studied at the Julius-Maximilians University of Würzburg. She passed her diploma examination in 2010 in the subjects biotechnology, genetics and pharmaceutic biology. At present she is performing her Diploma thesis at the Department of Biotechnology and at the company ZIM Plant Technology GmbH. In the course of her Diploma thesis Rebecka Bitter focuses on the graphical representation and evaluation of data for the user data center (development of parameters for a remote control of irrigation systems).
